You might consider incorporating the cyber-psychosis rules from Cyberpunk or some other system rather than "just" the negative level effect. Though it might be interesting if overly cybered characters could effectively turn into undead.

I have definitely considered that very thing. But what is wrong with becoming an 'undead' cyborg? ;)
No, don't get me wrong. I think the undead cyborg idea is awesome.
